WHY ACOUSTIC CEILINGS?
Less noise. More experience.
In bars, restaurants, clubs or bakeries, hard surfaces meet many people. Voices, music and noises overlap and the room begins to echo.
The result: conversations become tiring, guests don't stay long, employees get stressed more quickly.
Our Acoustic ceilings solve this problem where it arises: in the room itself. Unobtrusive, effective and immediately noticeable.
Room acoustics are not a luxury, but a decisive success factor:
- Communication becomes understandable
- The volume drops noticeably
- The atmosphere is of a higher quality
- Guests feel more comfortable and stay longer
- Employees are less stressed
In short: the room feels quieter, even though there is just as much going on.
With our SAGLAN glass wool for acoustic ceilings, you can achieve excellent sound insulation.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions
Do the acoustic ceilings affect the fire protection regulations?
No. The products have been tested and classified by the VKF (mostly RF1). The corresponding labelling is available.
How sustainable are the materials?
Sustainability is transparently documented by environmental product declarations (EPD, ECO-BAU).
SAGLAN glass wool consists to a large extent of recycled used glass and reduces the use of primary raw materials.
Are the acoustic ceilings suitable for noisy bars & restaurants?
Yes, the Sonic product range has been specifically designed to achieve very good acoustic values in the medium and high frequency range, precisely where speech and typical catering noises occur.
Can the blankets be cleaned?
Yes, cleaning is possible. However, only with suitable cleaners that do not contain solvents.
What use is a lower grammage?
The low weight of our acoustic ceilings brings practical advantages such as quick and uncomplicated installation and less intervention in the existing ceiling. For operators, this means less construction stress and more predictable costs.
Who installs the ceilings and how long does it take?
Installation is carried out by specialised personnel. The exact work involved is defined by the fabricator on a project-specific basis.
Are the acoustic ceilings fire protection compliant?
Yes, our acoustic ceilings are RF1/A1-certified and non-combustible.
How do good acoustics affect the behaviour of guests?
Good room acoustics have a positive effect on the well-being of guests. This can result in them staying seated longer, consuming more and keeping the visit in positive memory. The guest experience improves without changing the concept or offering.
What effect do good acoustics have on employees?
Constant noise is one of the biggest stress factors in the everyday lives of many employees. With good acoustics, communication works better and stress levels fall. This also has a positive effect on employee satisfaction in the long term.
